Non-standard board start-up postions
With Computer Terrace you can create any board layout you desire.
You can have any number of any size piece, and place them anywhere you
like. This makes it possible for you to create any starting situation
you wish, start a game in the middle, or even practice classic end-games.
Computer Terrace can be played with opponents three different ways.
Your computer: You can play against the opponent whose
artificial intelligence was installed by our computer programmers.
Via Modem: If your computer has modem, you can play against
opponents of your choice, provided they, too, have a modem and a copy of
the same (PC or Mac) Terrace computer game.
Internet: You can play with anyone in the whole world via the
Internet, provided you each have either the retail Computer Terrace version
1.4 (or better) for the PC, or the current downloaded freeware version for
the PC. more info.
